In 2004 Lisa commenced her time in a reputable Sandton Law firm with most of its clients being listed on the JSE as she studied her LLB and in time commenced her articles.

Lisa grew and thrived on the challenges involved in the well-established litigious practice and the comradery experienced with other practitioners and support staff.

On completing articles Lisa was admitted to practice in 2009 and then studied and completed her AIPSA diploma through the South African Restructuring and Insolvency Practitioners Association (previously AIPSA) at the University of Johannesburg.

During her earlier time in practice Lisa has been involved and assisted with matters including:

• high profile forensic litigation and insolvency enquiry matters involving kite-flying operations and similar fraudulent conduct against two major financial institutions in South Africa;
• drafting of credit applications and agreements, as well as collections and other litigation for one of the top milling and bakery businesses in South Africa;
• Home Loan recoveries for three of the major banks in South Africa;
• drafting Home Loan and consumer documentation for a registered bank;
• drafting of legal agreements in property finance divisions for a registered bank;
• commercial recoveries for a cellular network operator.

Overtime, Lisa has found her energy and focus in the legal profession turn towards understanding a client’s business objectives when approaching the practice, having a sound understanding of their products, services and assisting in supporting their growth.
